Christopher C. McConnell is the Director of Facilities Planning and Construction at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He has been with the university for 12 years, starting as an Assistant Project Manager. Mr. McConnell is an alumnus, holding a bachelor’s degree in construction management and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Mr. McConnell has led teams to complete major capital construction projects, tenant improvements, and mechanical and electrical system renewals. He has also contributed to policy renewals and lean process improvements, maintaining the university’s facilities to high standards.

Mr. McConnell has been involved with the PCAPPA board for over two years, starting as the Interim Chair of Membership and Community Engagement and later becoming the official Chair.
